Through her operating companies the Stokvis Group is active in several markets. In the overview below the markets and activities covered are described.
- Drives & Controls
- A complete range of transmission products is provided by group member ELSTO. Not only gearboxes, reductors, electric motors, linear drives, couplings, clutches and servo drives but also the controls systems that enable the drives to provide an optimum performance.
- Winches
The Stokvis Group has earned thanks to group member Emce an excellent reputation with the design and production of made to measure winches and capstans with capacities ranging from 100 kg to 100 tonne.
The winches can be driven by electric, air or hydraulic motors, and complemented with advanced control systems.
- Transport Equipment
Group member Wiegel has a strong presence in equipment for the transport sector. Next to winches, vehicle illumination systems, mobile energy, camera systems, small cranes and lifting equipment, Wiegel also caters for the tank and bulk transport sector with her extensive range of compressors.
- Lifting & Handling
Group member EBD specializes in the development, production and sales of products for the vertical movement of goods and people. Industrial lifting aids as balancers, hydraulic jacks, platforms and scissor lifts but also domestic and public lifts to move people between floors or building levels.
- Water treatment
Under the banner of NRO water treatment the Group has developed an unique filtration system to generate first class drinking water from even the most unfavourable fresh water sources as rivers, well’s to suspect water mains or even waste water.
- Machine building
In the field of in-house design and production the Stokvis Group always had a strong presence by virtue of a number of group members. With production facilities in Voorhout, IJmuiden, Hoogerheide and Groningen both design and production can be executed inside the groups control, to ensure premium quality at all times, while not forgetting the laws economics.
The combination of state of the art equipment and an experienced and involved workforce guarantees the ideal mix for swift and trouble free production for even the most demanding products.
The maritime activities consists of the sale of new and pre owned yachts, and the sale of maritime specific LED illumination systems. Next to the sales activities a wide array of services is available ranging from valuation, maintenance activities and consultancy on insurance and finance regarding pleasure craft.
